Je suis très heureuse de l'achat effectué chez vous la surjetteuse professionnelle 514 T 968 DC Serger et le fer à repasser Ces articles travaillent très bien Le moins agréable avec vous c'est qu'il est très difficile de se faire parler en français pourtant vous n Hésitez pas à vouloir connaître mon avis sur les produits achetés chez vous même si on est francophone Ce qui complique de beaucoup pour ma part l'achat d'autres produit comme un ensemble de pieds presseur de surjetteuse, aiguilles etcétéra Monique Bourassa Tanguay

It's a great serger, I bought this one for my mother, it was a little complicated at first but it was easy to understand once we got to know the functions. Personally I have never used a serger before, but with the help of my mother's knowledge it took me a day to figure most of it out. It would really helpful if singer could send a CD or online video tutorial link that a person can go to to learn the features. The manual was not very helpful. But serger works great

Many will say this is not a serger for a beginner, but, I beg to differ. This is the first serger I have actually attempted to use, and, once you get the hang of threading it and changing out the needles to whatever function you are doing (serging or coverstitch), you are good to go. I got lucky and got this machine for $449 when on auction sites and Amazon it was close to $800! I knew to snap it up once it came back in stock due to the high demand for it. It is helpful to read the manual, watch YouTube videos and practice threading the machine if you are a newbie like I am. After only one night of working with the machine, I am confident in it and feel it was a great value for the money. I do have a separate Janome coverstitch machine as well, but, wanted this dual machine in case something were to go wrong with the Janome. When this comes in stock again, especially if it is under $500 - do not hesitate - and do not be discouraged by reviews that complain how difficult it is to thread - sergers are always going to be more challenging to thread compared to your sewing machine - buy this machine if you get the chance at the below $500 price! You won't regret it!

Only used it three times, but I'm absolutely in love with it so far. Changing from flatlock to overlock took some doing, but that's to be expected.
