This machine works extremely well. I bought it for my wife and she loves it. She likes to use it for hems and for minor alterations.

Pros: Easy To Use Cons: Other thoughts: I am from England so sold my old Singer before I came here. My new replacement Singer seems as easy to operate as my old one. There is a lot more plastic on this new one, it doesn't feel as sturdy but the performance is as good. I can't work out the automatic needle threader, it's still a mystery even after many read throughs of the instructions. I have yet to try the many fancy stitches as I have been making curtains up to now but I am very pleased with the results so far. In fact I am searching for the perfect fabric for my dining room curtains next and looking forward to using my machine again.

Pros: Easy To Use, Versatile, Absolutely love it Cons: None at this time Other thoughts: I just absolutely love this machine. It is so easy to use, and it is quiet. I love the stitching that is has. There isn't anything negative to say about this machine. Jeannie
