I got this little machine for my 10 year old granddaughter and it has been great. Just the right size for her to learn how to sew. It's very easy to thread.

I haven't sewed for a very long time and wanted to sew, maybe start with little things and move up. I got the Singer basic machine because they have been in business for years. I could not have chosen a better sewing machine. The bobbin thread is so easy to load. The machine itself is easy to load. It comes with a detailed instruction book and diagrams. Everything about it is more than I expected. I Love IT! I am going to move up to a bigger machine and I can't wait!!

My 8 year old daughter seemed to pick up how to use this sewing machine very easily. She absolutely loves it and uses it a lot.

After years without sewing i had to practically learn how to sew again. This machine was so different it actually was hard to get going. My old model was a Singer about 1965 and for me was a snap. I had a hard time getting everything to work and if it had not been for the video that came with it i would probably have taken it back. Once I got it going it was OK. The threading of the needle was hard to get right but a good idea since I'm much older with not as sharp sight as years ago.
