I typically love sketchers but these are the most uncomfortable shoesI have EVER worn and I bought them for work since they are supposed to be slip resistant ( my last pair of slip resistant sketchers were awesome) but these caused me to slip and slide all over!!! Very dangerous
I am a dealer in a casino and am on my feet all night. The shoes are comfortable as long as I add a Dr. Shoels insert. The only real problem I have with them is they were out very quickly. I have bought these twice. The second time to see if they would be better and maybe I just got a bad pair the first time. The soles and the upper leather are fine. The part that wears out is inside the shoe where the back of my heel hits the shoe. It wears big holes through the material and padding till it is just against the hard interior.
I am 60+ year old and still working. I work in an environment where I need slip-resistant footwear. I also require proper support and cushioning. I find that Sketchers gives me all that I need. We must remember we are like trees. Our feet are our roots and must be taken care of all throughout our lives. If the "roots are well maintained then the limbs and trunk are also well maintained.
I have a hard time finding shoes that do not hurt my feet. I wore them around the house for days. They seemed to feel okay but when I wore them for an 8.5 hour work shift my feet hurt so bad. Plus in the heal it is so loose that my feet kept sliding out of the shoe no matter how tight I tied the laces.
You no longer carry the shoe that worked best for me, so I tried this one. The in sole needs more cushion since it is a work show for restaurant workers. My foot slides to the front because it is larger than the one I purchased 2 years ago that I can no longer get. My ankles are bruised from the part of the shoe that touches my ankles as well.
