Fist off, Buy this! Now I will tell you why - For less than $20 you can't go wrong. I was a bit skeptical since it was so inexpensive but thought it was worth a try, so glad I did! I have one tire that has a slow leak and add air about every 4 or so months and it was time again. This has a pressure gauge built in and when I first attached the pump it showed 25psi (should be 35psi), I took the pump off again and used my tire gauge and yes it showed 25psi also so I know the pump was correct. The stem attachment has a toggle lock down so once you attach it to the stem it holds tight. First use on that tire and it took about 5 to 6 minutes to reach the 35psi. The unit is small but don't let that throw you off when you first see it may strike you as too small for the job but like they say "good things come in small packages!" I also had to fill a passenger side that I never really notice, gave the pump a 5 or so minute break and once again no problems filling to the correct psi.The pump never got hot or overheated. This unit does not have a plug on it, you can only plug it into a "cigarette lighter" type outlet in your auto so make sure your car has one. This unit is small, compact and a real work horse. i would suggest everyone keep one in their auto for an unexpected emergency. Pay once for this unit and never pay for air again at a station!

People are very critical of these inexpensive little units, but when you come out of the grocery store or wedding reception to a flat tire you'll be glad you have one. I actually bought six. One for each car, one to hold on to as a spare, and two to give to my son at Christmas. I had a similar one a few years ago that broke right away; those are the breaks I guess. I didn't even bother to take it back, because at $16 it not worth the effort. Yet I had another cheapie unit years ago that I used a couple times a week on a slow leak and it just burned out after a few years. Grab a couple of these and keep them handy, you don't need the expensive ones, so what if it takes 8 minutes to inflate your tire.

Purchased the pump to fill up pool inner tubes for a lazy day of rafting. Pump worked for about 4 minutes then burnt out and the pump barely put any air in the tube. If i had this to fill up a car tire I'd be pretty upset as it'd take who knows how long to work.

Relatively quiet compressor compared to others on the market, more powerful compressor than expected! I can fill an extremely low tire from low teens PSI to 36 PSI in LESS than 2 minutes. Most important feature for me is the tight, secure connection the fill hose makes with the valve stem. Of all the experiences I have had with this type of connector, this is the ONLY one I have ever used on a large tire successfully.

My 4-runner driver side front tire lost air. I ordered this Slime Tire Inflator on-line from Walmart and picked up from local store the next day. The little machine worked very well. The built-in Gauge seemed accurate and was comparable to my other Gauges. Could not check the brightness of the light (LED) around noon but it was working. The cord might be too short to reach a back tire.
