SlimFast Diabetic Weight Loss Meal Replacement Bar, Double Chocolate Cookie Dough, 5 ct.

These Slimfast meal replacement bars are really good. To be honest I don't know if I can use them as diet substitutes because they are so delicious. They are however pretty filling and do work really well as meal replacements, but be warned the double chocolate cookie dough bars are so yummy that you may end up eating the entire box.

Out of all the meal replacement bars we have tried as a family- these are by far the best tasting & most satisfying. My husband is a diabetic and we tried these on a whim as I have had a hard time trying to find something quick & easy he can grab to eat so he can take his meds mid morning. He loved them and asked me to get him more. I tried them also and have to day they are the best tasting option I have tried to date.

Box has 5 meal bars...190 calories per bar. First couple of bites are not bad, but does not improve. Ok texture, but not good after taste. Double chocolate cookie dough sounds great, but very fake tasting chocolate. Decent crunch, but hard for me to eat the entire bar. I am not a big slimfast fan, so perhaps someone who uses their products might find this bar more pleasant...Sorry not for me.

Products like SlimFast Diabetic Weight Loss Meal Replacement Bar, besides being an indulgent treat for the sweet tooth that tempts too many good people, is also a reasonably safe meal replacement for many good people that have issues with sugar. Double chocolate is a feel good option, specially at that critical time where hunger might block reason a little bit. Eating one, in my case together with cold water, permits me to pass by many temptations and choices that would undoubtedly take me from the correct path where food choices are concerned. SlimFast has been around the block, and I have tried their products over the years. I like, or should I say liked since they are gone, these bars apparently are quite easy to enjoy. I definitely last a few hours in between eating, and having them readily available while outside of the house, is a powerful deterrent to burgers, burritos, etc. I gladly give these bars 4.5 Stars.

1st I will say that I am not diabetic and not on a weight lose program, although I'd like to lose weight but I'm horrible with having to be on a diet. So, I tried the Chocolate Cookie Dough bar. I'm not a fan of eating cookie dough but the bar smelled just like the real stuff and tasted like it just not doughy and sticky. It says to replace it with a meal and I ki d of felt full for awhile but I gave in and ate a lunch because I soon felt hungry again. I love Carbs and Sugar so its nice to see that its gluten free and low in calories. I personally would like to try the Peanut butter chocolate bar but possibly not for Diabetics but for weightloss.
