I imagined when I purchased this item that the thick type pillow illustrated in that ad was also part of the cost and product content. I learned after getting the cot, this thicker type mattress was extra.
Overall cot is good, but cushion is not as plush as it looks in image. I added a small air mattress under neath that I usually put in camping hammock, and it helped with comfort.
FEDEX delivery stinks, the box looked like it had been tossed everywhere torn and retaped, they are TERRIBLE! So far product is ok, have not tried out camping yet
easy to set up. unfolds like one of those fabric chairs with the cup holder netting, except this has a convenient pouch for your cell phone or other small bedside necessities. pretty sturdy and, although, the bedding isn't as thick as it seems in the picture, it is comfortable. perfect for a weekend of camping or even a guest bed.
It was either a chair sleeper or a cot. I chose an the XXL cot because the regular cot has so little room to turn and it can travel . Not only that I can take it where I need to go, Upstairs, downstairs, on the porch or camping. The chair would not have as many options. When guests come and visit my sofa is comfortable to sleep on but the seat is about 20 inches to sit or lay on. The Cot....I tried to push down the center support. I could not push hard enough the way the instructions directed. I turned it over and was able to lock it in place that way with ease. it is made well. I have rested on it. It's as hard as the floor. I then put the cushion on it....better but for my old bones I need an air or foam pad under the cushion anyway. The XXL is an inch taller than the regular size cot and for my short legs, it's hard to get off of the cot anyway. The bed area concaves down a little and there is a bracket support at the center edge to contend with to get off of the cot too. I think with the added padding it will create more height and may be easier. I wont be hiking with all that I need for my total comfort as it is not the ideal hiking item to carry unless there is a pack mule going on the trip or just put in the vehicle. The cots con is that it cannot be adjusted for lounging it only has a sleeping position.
