Smithfield Meat Lovers Breakfast Protein Omelet Bites, 4 oz

Great idea and I was really looking forward to enjoying this. One bite and I had to throw it away. So spicy/hot that I couldn't eat any more. I love Mexican and Cajun food so I can't imagine who could eat something this hot. Will not buy again or recommend it to anyone I like.

I found out my son in law loves them and they are such a convenience to prepare-- look at the nutritional facts- These are a heart attack waiting to happen! Almost 2/3 FAT and almost 1/2 sodium (salt)! Do not buy these if you value your health. - change your diet and eat a soft or hard boiled egg please. Include lots of healthy veggies and make scrambled eggs or omelettes without the fats and sodium.

These are awesome! They don't get mushy on the microwave, they're easy to eat, and the flavor is good. The bites are almost "spongy" from the egg, and there is a serious sausage flavor. I like them more than the cups you mix an egg into - less messy, no weird potato texture, and you can eat them with your fingers. My daughter and I gobbled them up and were wanting more! They only take 45 seconds in the microwave and breakfast is done. I can see throwing some grapes in the cup to balance the meal, and popping bites all the way to work. Will be buying again soon. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed these Power Bites, especially since I could pop them in the microwave, and the take them with me on my way to work. They fit nicely in the cup holder, I mean the container, I didn't just pour the bites into the cup holder like a heathen! The taste is good, like a breakfast meat ball with breading mixed in. I could really taste the sausage and bacon, along with the egg and cheese, I think the ham gets a bit lost but it's in there. I also cut up a few pieces and put them in a breakfast burrito with a bit of hot sauce, and boy was that delicious. I think that if I could make one change it would be to make the bites slightly smaller so there could be slightly more in each cup. Overall, I was happy with these Power Bites, the taste, texture, packaging and ease of cooking make this a great breakfast, maybe next time I'll try a new flavor!
