Snow Joe 18-inch Electric Single-Stage Snow Blower W/ Headlight, 15-Amp

Extremely negative experience with this seller. First, the item was a refurbished item with no mention of this in the item description. Then, after they got the return, no refund or notification of refund ever came, I had to go to Walmart.com to try to get my money refunded. Supposedly they will, time will tell. Cannot recommend this seller.

So I bought this as we had 2 snowstorms bearing down on us. And yes the snow did reach us with at least 2 days of with more than 10 cm. And the snowplow pile today was about 24 inches high. The Snow Joe cut through it all, running continuously and cleared everything including the snowplow pile. I had to run up on the pile and get the top thrown first and then a pass for the remainder. It even peeled some ivmce from the asphalt and threw it with the snow. Very happy with this little machine.

I ordered two new snow blowers from Walmart web site. I received two refurbished snow blowers . It took numerous phone calls to customer service to be able to return the items to Walmart. I returned them and received a receipt that says I have to wait for my refund until the supplier rebelieves them. I purchased from Walmart not the supplier! I advise everyone be careful when purchasing from Walmart on line. Very disappointed in this experience.

Got sent a beat up box with taped around marked refurbished. On top of that, its missing the middle assembly!!! What a joke!!! Your an idiot if you buy this junk from these LOOSERS!!! THEY SHOULD BE BANNED FRON SELLIMG ON WALMART.COM!!! This is unacceptable, they knowingly are decieivng buyers!!! If you want to sell refurbished fine, but you need to specifiy that and know if your sending all the conponets or not. I was in great need of a working model and now all you have done is waste my time, cost me more money, and I was really counting on this POS to work until I got my real snow blower repaired!!!

Only had 1 chance to try this machine on 2 inches of snow in Calgary. It works as long as you have the top chute that points the snow in the direction you want it to go, pointing at a higher angle to make the snow be thrown further from the machine. If you lower the angle to make the snow not be thrown so far, there is a gap that appears between the upper and lower parts of the chute and the snow absolutely pours through that gap. I found an Amazon review that has a video of this and it is absolutely true. As long as you don't need to throw the snow at a lower angle, you should be fine - it does work at a higher angle. I am considering taping up that gap from the inside of the chute so that snow does not escape through it. This is a design flaw and I should not have to do this. Will I find a tape that sticks on this plastic chute and stays stuck on it in freezing weather with snow constantly hitting it? I hope so but have not tried it yet.
