Sony 40" 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV, KDL-40BX450

This Sony has an excellent picture the sound quality is good but not great. The speaker size limits its bass but it is better then the other flat screens I looked at. I've had a Panasonic Plasma tv for years and the picture on the Sony is just as good the sound with out a sound bar not so much. If you have a lot of equipment to plug in it has only 2 HDMI inputs. It has a VGA input for you older computer so you can use it as a monitor, that was one reason I purchased it and it works very well. Got it online from Walmart on sale it arrived 2 days early and in good condition. So far I'm very happy.

Tremendous picture quality. best I hae ever seen especiallly since I have HDTV receptionb from Direct TV. I am still having a problem connecting my DVD player to the set but I'll contact the Sony help desk om Monday and we should figure it out. The istruction bookelt does not cover all the items you need to know other than that and the fact that securing the stand to the TV was awkward it is now safely attached.

I purchased this TV over less expensive brands of similar size, and over larger models for similar money because it is a Sony. It is an adequate size for the layout of my room. I've only had it for a week, but I like it very much. The features and the quality of the picture are outstanding. I gave it an excellent value rating because there was nothing between good and excellent, and it deserves a higher value rating than just good. Very good would be more like it

I love this TV. The picture quality is excellent & it was very easy to install. I do have to turn the volume up pretty high, but I live in a loft with very high ceilings & I think that's a big part of the issue. I was also impressed with how quickly it was shipped to me.

It's been a week since the TV arrived and was put in place, and so far the sound and picture quality have been great.
