Sony - 55" Class X800H Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV

SONY voice recognition is Awesome!! Perfect feature for those whose hands dont work so good anymore!!

I bought this TV to replace a 65 inch Samsung. TV repairman said he repaired probably 75% Samsung and hardly ever saw a Sony.

Haven't really figured out what this anomaly is in the screen. TV is completely off and even when it's unplugged this white bar appears in the screen at the bottom only viewable at a certain angle. TV shuts off once in a while for no particular reason, just shut off. One night my wife and I were sitting in here reading and a voice came over the TV and said, “something went wrong, please try again later“. also drops Wi-Fi signal pretty often while streaming TV is probably 15 away from Wi-Fi source. Other than those, “quirks“ TV seems pretty decent for the money. We also got the sound bar and sub woofer in the package and it adds a lot of depth.

My wife bought a Vizio TV for my birthday, I didn't like it so I took that TV back and bought a Sony X800H/LED/4k Ultra HD/ HDR/Smart TV. We have bought nothing but Sony TV's for sometime now. Sony puts out a GREAT TV, never had one problem with them at all.

Pros: Good speakers Decent contrast Moderately easy initial setup Easy navigation Cons: Severe motion blur (not good if you are an action movie fan) Has a power brick instead of a built in inverter Short power cord from TV to brick and brick to outlet
