I've been experiencing significant responsiveness issues with my Sony Bravia 4K VH2 Android TV OS version 2 and connected DirecTV box. Both devices exhibit a delay in responding to remote control inputs. Key presses on the remote are not registered immediately; instead, there's a long wait during which the inputs seem to buffer, eventually executing all at once after a minute or two. This issue is intermittent but has been worsening over time. Rebooting the TV and the DirecTV box has not resolved the problem. This frustrating issue affects the usability of both my TV and the connected service, making simple navigation and selection tasks very cumbersome.
I bought this at the end of April. I use it in the mornings before work and evenings after work. And weekends when I'm home. I have it mounted on the wall. I say this because it's already malfunctioning. It started blinking a red light today. Apparently there could be something wrong with it. 2K for a TV that isn't used frequently is plain wrong. I feel like I am being cheated off my money. I would have probably been better off buying a cheap TV. Now, Sony is probably gonna want me to pay for services. SMH
I bought this to replace a 12 year old sony 52" xbr 1080p tv, good upgrade on 1080p picture quality sound very much improved, way better than old sony tv. This tv shines when using 4k and dolby atmos just hard to get it there sometimes maybe just me not knowing how to set up exactly right. Great upgrade overall.
We really love this TV although at first the picture seemed a little dark. But the nice man from the Geek Squad readjusted it and we really love it a lot. When we watch a Western it's so real we want to get on a horse and ride with them.
I purchased this Tv almost 6 months ago and it has so far performed brilliantly. The OLED screen is at times not as bright as you could squeeze out of non-OLED screen, but that was to be expected. It is brighter than some other OLEDS that I have seen, and with the arrangement of my living room, screen brightness was not a large concern for me. I did notice a period of wifi connectivity dropping off about 50-70% of the time the tv was turned on and off, requiring a restart to regain connection. This issue persisted until a recent update, which seems to have rectified that. All in all, a great TV. I use it for a host of media, including gaming with a PS5, and it performs better than I could have hoped for.
