The sound quality is as expected… however, the user experience is absolutely awful. For example, when I turn off my ps5/tv and turn the tv back on the soundbar says it's on but there is no audio. I've reset the soundbar several times but the issue persists. I previously had a Samsung soundbar and thought I was upgrading… turns out I was dead wrong
Needed a Soundbar, to go with Sony TV. Wanted a Sony Dolby Atmos Soundbar without breaking the bank to get, with great sound quality. I feel with this one I accomplished what I set out to do. It was easy to install/replace the existing one, great sound quality, and so much more. Seamless set up allowed it to play nice with all the other Sony products.
Been using for 4 months. A little confusing when directions show to use HDMI cable and optical audio for any non-Sony TV brand when only optical audio is needed. Issue we have is only TV audio works—unable to get audio from Fire TV stick or BlueRay player. Also sometimes we have to turn the volume higher just to hear certain words.
3.5 stars. Amazing sound clarity but not effective. Bass is very low for this price range. Premium finish and looks classy. Subwoofer doesn’t give you that much bass even at its full volume/throttle. Tried with various audio format but it’s no difference .
I bought this item last month and the remote is not working… right out the box..I used it once and the remote just stopped working. I tried the best batteries… I restarted the system multiple times… I’m just sad… waiting for I guess a back order on a remote.
