Sony PlayStation 2 Slim Gaming Console

I purchased this item for my son's 7th b-day. The games were age appropriate. It's very easy for him and even me to set up. The extra controller and remote are great for an additional player. A memory card is not included with this bundle. You need it to save your progress. So far he has not complained too much.

The item was a bargain. You not only saved on the price of the PS2 unit, but you also received a movie and a game. My son loves the game. Dad got the new PS2 and my son got the old one and a new game. So the fuss in my household came to a close. The only thing that was bad is the time frame quoted was not right. It took a little bit longer to get than told.

We bought a new PS2 because we lost the other in a house fire and are a little disappointed. It's half the size and easily falls off the shelf if you pull too hard on the cords of the controls. It's also less sensitive than the older model and we've had problems getting it to play some of our older games that play fine on the older model (older PS2 model). We are not sure at all how we feel about it but since there is no way to get a new older model we are stuck. We like PS2.

This was a Christmas present for my son, the ship to store feature works fantastic, fast and secure, never a long line to pick up, the only reason I give a 4 star is because it didn't play one DVD movie (out of about 20 that my son has tried so far), so probably was just something wrong with the disc (despite being almost brand new) still a great deal, and great service from Walmart

The DVD is not a real hit with my son. I would not say it is a price advantage. Lego Batman is an o.k. game but definitely for the younger generation (my son's eight and it's barely old enough for him). All of it comes inside a box, inside a box (this is not a typo...it's double-boxed). The value is not the best but it is a PS2. There are no problems with the system itself.
