Sony Playstation 4 Gold Wireless Stereo Headset, CECHYA-0083

I've owned this headset for a few weeks now & while I did use my iPhone wired earbuds a few times with the PS4 prior to purchasing the Sony headset I got tired of the wires of the iPhone earbuds quickly so the Sony headset being wireless was a huge buying point for me. So far so good, sound quality is nice. I haven't used the 'built-in' microphone(as opposed to headsets that have microphones that comes out in front of your face) so I can't comment of that feature. I mainly bought them so the rest of the family didn't have to hear the games I was playing(or the language on such games like GTA5) so they've worked great for my use. The overall build quality honestly makes the headset seem a little cheap as it's mainly all plastic but they have not gotten loose at all in the time I've used them. One comment I read prior to buying was that they'd be a tight fit for a person with a large head with that person even saying this headset would give them headaches, well I've got a large head so I had to adjust the ear muffs all the way down & I can use the headset for hours with no discomfort at all. Installation was a breeze. Plugged in the USB dongle into the PS4 & that was all, headset was automatically recognized & its been smooth sailing since. Overall I love the headset & have been completely satisfied with the purchase.

Got this because I was tired of messing around with wires! Mic- My friends says it's very clear! Sound-Awesome on any device even when using a headphone wire. I haven't tested the the wire included. The wire I used isn't anything special. So I can't see anything wrong with the included one. I've read reviews saying the audio quality goes down when using the headphone jack/wire. However I didn't experience this. Bluetooth- Disappointed that you have to use the dongle. Which means you cannot pair the headset with iPhones or androids. There isn't a true pairing feature. 7.1 virtual surround sound- i'm skeptical of this maybe it's because I don't fully understand how it works or the fact that I have a actual surround sound system and am used to the real thing. Comfort- Very much so. Ear pads go fully around my ears muffling outside noise but not canceling

I purchased the Sony Gold Wireless Stereo Headset via WalMart.com. The price was lower than in the store. I chose store pick-up with Free Shipping, which is a big incentive to shop on-line. The item came in a few days in excellent condition! Thank You WalMart for providing this option for shopping.

They did not have the bass that I like, to me it was not very good although some peoples reviews say they really liked it and when I'm gaming I would hop in a Jet and the Jet noise would just be to loud and I couldn't hear anything else I did use them while listening to music off my Laptop and they were OK so I was not impressed with these so I returned them the next day

Bought this a couple of months ago and it still sounds great, has no scratches, and is still working perfectly. It is also very comfortable.
