Sony Smart Speaker LFS50G with Google Assistant Built in - Black

Me encanto el producto sonido fuerte y bueno diseño excelente pero quisiera saber por qué se le hace tan difícil a Sony actualizarlo como ejemplo pongo a los altavoces inteligentes de LG que tienen la última versión del sistema siempre y sus precios son parecidos Sony debería tratar bien a sus clientes llevándoles un producto 100% funcional

I have had this model now for 2 years since release and it is always behind Google devices in terms of features. The firmware is updated infrequently so bug fixes and new features are slow. At time of review it still can't perform voice calling. This has been on Google devices for ages. As a speaker it is fine. As a smart speaker, it lacks features against other similar devices.

Sounds great but needs work. Volume controls are pretty non-responsive. Works ok as stand alone smart speaker with Google assistant but didn't integrate into a smart home set-up with several other google devices. Frequently lost connection with local wifi, requiring me to have to unlink it from home and delete it and then reboot and set up. Gave up and removed it after a day of this happening 5+ times. Wouldn't recommend to fit into existing google based smart home set-up. Also found that responses to commands and queries weren't as accurate as using Google products, which makes no sense unless Google's mics are more accurate.

I bought this speaker about 5 months ago and the overall sound quality is amazing. It's a little pricey here in Sri Lanka but I feel like I got a good product for the price I paid. Thank you Sony and google keep up the good work.

The design I love. The screen informing the time / level of solid is a great contribution, the use of Google Assistance is very pleasant, but as a party leaves much to be desired. The sound is so monotonous that it reaches a point that bothers listening to it and you prefer to go back to using a Chinese player.
