Sony - SRS-XB12 Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. Uses it all the time. The sound quality from this little speaker is wonderful! Great bass but never over powering to the treble sound or enough to cause a muffle effect. Very happy with this purchase for her and would definitely recommend it.

Good sound and great channel separation when purchased in pairs. Two of these can approach the sound of a $300 boom box form factor, although with less bass. Sadly, I didn't realize these used microUSB for charging. Turns out that I should have ordered the SRS-XB13, which are almost identical but with USB Type C charging.

Excellent sound, simple pairing, reliably reconnections to the BT source. Like all Sony BT speakers this one has excellent sound. The only miss is one that all BT speakers from Sony that I've owned share; no power level indicator (not even an LED) or support for a power level indicator on the phone's display.) Nevertheless, with battery run time to spare - this compact BT speaker is excellent in the rental car cup holder, on the desktop or in the backpack or briefcase, even clipped to a belt while outside or around the house. Without the privacy failings that “sponsored” or “underwritten” speakers carry (from popular search engines or online merchants) this speaker is excellent - FIVE stars out of FOUR!!!

The quality of the sound is great! It is smaller then I what I was expecting but I still like it because it gets more manageable to cary around. The only problem is the quality of the mic, when the phone is connected it will be a trouble is to record audio messages. A good point for me tho is that it doesn't disconnect due to inactivity.

For a small speaker it has a good sound. A friend of ours has one so we thought we would try it out. We use mainly in our kitchen area and and of course it sounds way better than just playing music from our phones. It certainly would not replace a home sound system, but for use with your phone, inside or out and the portability, it certainly does the trick. Volume is loud enough and doesn't have any kind of distortion when turned up. Bass is good. I would recommend this speaker to anyone. I think for the price it's a good deal.
