Chrystal clear audio using Sony Music center app , and personalizing your audio Eq / lights / and bass levels etc. such a sleek counter top/shelf or “on the go” design. I got the tan version. Off default sounded fine. When connected to app. Audio %26 bass increased. Great battery life and cool lighting effects. *[Srs X-Series] with mega bass and party cast. Means I connected to my Sony srs SG300 boom box. Through the app as well as my • srsXE200. Making a speaker group system. [many others are able to connect as long as it's srs x series so much bigger speakers as well]. Those 3 played simultaneously an each played the perfect role in creating a sound system. Obviously the bulk of audio came out of the superior xg 300 Xe 200 acted simply (imo as added bass and this speaker put out clear audio making 3 speakers from different dates in releasing even a year apart. And sounded better than any one specific speaker (on its own) that I own. Even in its own this speaker gets a bad name (but it puts out great clear! Audio and has option of “mega bass”. Which isn't too overbearing. Perfect or one big room. But not a huge party. High recommendation by me even today I made this review many months after its purchase not quite a year a few months short it's still performing very well. You can also keep it plugged in. (While Playing , although. Or necessary). Some say it enhances audio but obviously keeps battery charging. As well. I highly Recommend this to someone looking for a “Sony” audiophile speaker with added bass if you want it and a xtra party casting”speaker Grouping features ! Great price right now because it's been released awhile. But still has that Sony sound you're Looking for ! [provided pics of it in speaker grouping mode using the free Sony music center app) along with the xg300 and xe200. I love this speaker. It's small but packed with power! Being waterproof is a bonus as I like having the speaker in the bathroom and outside. Love the LIVE option as well and the lights are fun. Paired with the Sony app, you can customize the flashing lights on the speaker. So happy with my purchase.

Nice sounding speaker but inadequate for customer. Weak sound output. Speaker controls embeded into speaker housing are difficult to see due to being same color as device body. Party lights on each end are nice looking. This BT speaker needs a more robust sound output (kick) and visible controls for a product with a take home price nearing $100.

These are great speakers for your pool area however you MUST get the Sony app to get the full audio experience from these's speakers. I have 2 sets and the small children like the party mode at night otherwise I just use one set with lights off in stereo mode

You can get a better speaker, for about the same price. The JBL Flip 6 costs $125.00, (with a case), but the sound quality is far superior. This speaker is expensive because of the led lights it comes with. Looks pretty good but the sound is not as good it should be...
