SoundSpa SS-6500 Clock Radio for iPod

my daughter loves changing out the front color plates and having a new look. It will not charge the newest iPods, but they will connect to the top and play on it. A little disappointed about that, but not enough to send it back. The display is very bright, even on dim it lights up her whole room. It can be turned off, but then you can't see the time. It is easy to find the dimmer switch even in the dark. She has only used it a few days, but overall she likes it very much.

I was looking to replace a standard alarm clock, and this one seemed to fit my needs. Pros: - Great sound, looks good, good value - Dual Alarms are nice - Connecting and using iPod super easy - The soothing sounds are really nice, too. Cons: - The blue light from the clock is BRIGHT, but it can be turned off. The blue also seems to be the new thing in clocks like this, so it may be unavoidable. - The buttons 'click' very loudly. Not a huge deal, but, for example, my husband gets up first and turns off the second alarm. The buttons click so loud when pressed that it wakes me up anyway. - This is just something that bugged me, but it wouldn't stop me from buying another... The dual alarms have to be set on the same thing. So you can't set the first one to the soothing sounds, and the second to the iPod, for example. Both have to be set to the iPod, or the sounds, or the radio, etc. Overall I think it was a great purchase and would recommend to anyone!

I purchased this as a gift for my 12 yr old daughter for Christmas. What an extreme disappointment when she opened it up this morning, plugged it in and it would not even turn on! Nothing worse than the look on a child's face when a Christmas gift has to be returned!

This product is the best i have had it for a week or two now and i have not had one problem!!!! I didnt even need the directions to figure it out. and it even has a cord so that if you have a ipod shuffle or a friend has an ipod shuffle then you can listen to it. It is great. I would HIGHLY recommend this product. And it is very VERY resonably priced!! The alarm clock is awesome also with all of its sounds you can choose from. I love this product!!!!

i love it. i bought it to use in my dorm when i go to school. i havent moved yet but i love using it at home. good volume and the nap feature is cool. I only wish there was some type of remote. I would suggest having playlists so you dont have to constantly change your songs.
