Worked very well. I purchased more tent stakes based on another recommendation from the reviews here. Glad I did. The beach wind can be very strong. Loved this item. Very easy set up. Opens like a regular umbrella. Stab the umbrella stand slanted into the sand, nail down the tent stakes with a rubber mallet, and you are good to go.

I was worried about the setup especially being on a sunny hot beach, but was surprised how easily it could be put up! I love the pockets to hold sand, and was comfortable leaving the tent set up all day in between us going and coming! And taking down waa even easier! It kept my kids cool ans very much looking forward for another trip to use this again!

Super umbrella/tent for the beach. It's quite large and don't have to bend over when entering. It's perfect for my husband, dog, myself and large cooler without being cramped. Depending on the wind direction and the setup, it also blocks out blowing sand. Love that it has stakes and is easy to put back into carrying bag. Super product!

Love it, just wish there were different colors to choose from.

This was such a hit at my twins football game, that before we could even get it set up, other parents swarmed to the area we were setting the brella up and perched under the shade, we couldn't even get it anchored down correctly. Then last week at football practice, we had a down poured down rain and out came the brella and we could stay seated along the edge of the field to watch my sons practice.
