Springmaid Coverlet Set, Royal

I bought this after a very long period of time making sure I bought just the right one and going into Wal-Mart and actually looking at the coverlet in front of me and I knew I had to have this. My husband even likes it. It is not too girllyish and it also makes our room feel a little romantic too at the same time. The only bad thing is I just can not find any dectortive pillows to go with it. And also there was a few loose strings, but nothing major

I have always bought comforters, never coverlets. And although this is not a comforter I can snuggle up with, I absolutely love the rich look and feel of this coverlet. We roll down the coverlet each night and our blanket underneath acts as our comforter. The coverlet has such warm colors. I like dark colors but was afraid that my room, when I was done, would look like a dungeon. It is far from that. I chose Behr, Warm Nutmeg-semi gloss, for my wall color. I could have even gone a shade darker. I have a pine bed with wrought iron headboard and wrought iron accents throughout the room. It makes for a rich, expensive look.

I bought this set in green at a local store. I was VERY impressed by the quality. It met, if not exceeded my expectations. I have been looking for a coverlet set for some time. This one is oversized so it is the perfect size for my queen bed and hangs down and covers the sheets completely. While a little stiff, for a coverlet (believe me I have looked at dozens at all sorts of stores) this one is quite soft. If you are expecting the softness of a 100% cotton quilt than this will be stiffer than you like, but if know coverlets than this one is actually quite softer than many I have felt. And it washes up beautifully. This rivals many of the big department store coverlet sets in quality and the price is quite good. Oh and it says it was made in the USA. SC to be exact.

I bought this coverlet at walmart about 4 years back. This coverlet still looks brand new! It is gorgeous satiny fabric, not just cotton. It also stands up to my huge golden retriever and his nasty nails. I love this coverlet so much we are upgrading to king and I am buying it in that size too!

This cover is very pretty. I went from queen comforter (bulky) to king coverlet (not so bulky) for washing pruposes. This was a very good move! It is still very warm, even if you have to add a thin blanket under it. It is worth having the ability to wash it when you need to. You ever try stuffing a king sized comforter in a washing machine! Yeah right! Never again! Great buy, awesome price and stands up good to washing!
