St. Ives Vitamin E Advanced Moisturizer Body Lotion, 18 fl oz

I have used St. Ives Vitamin E lotion for so long I can't remember when I didn't use it. I swore by it. In fact, I've used it as facial moisturizer for years and now that I am middle aged, people have commented on how good my skin looks. I fear that will not last. The new formula is not good. It feels like wax, where the old formula felt creamy and soothing to my skin. I looked at the ingredients of the new formula compared to the old one and there is alcohol listed in the new formula near the top of the ingredients list. The old formula had no alcohol. Alcohol is drying not moisturizing. St. Ives used to be one of the only lotions that did not use alcohol. I am going to have to switch. I hope St. Ives solves this problem so I can come back soon.

I have used the vitamin E formula for years. Being a man, I liked this lotion because it didn't smell like perfume and absorbed quickly. I never had to worry about greasy hands. I liked it so much I followed it through different bottle designs and paid the premium price for it. That has all changed with the new formula. The perfume smell is something made for my wife and the residue is greasy. If I wanted something like this I could buy any other brand on the market, and would probably just buya generic based on the price!

I do not like the new formula. it is thicker and somehow, my hands feel dryer than before. also, the perfumey smell is weird and way too strong. the old aloe formula used to have a nice, light smell, and the perfect texture. bring it back!!

I have been using St Ives Vitamin E lotion for as long as I can remember. I am so disappointed that the formula has now been changed. It's either more greasy or less absorbent than it used to be and the smell gives me a headache. Is there any way to get a hold of the older formula???

I have been using St. Ives for years, specifically the vitamin E lotion. However the new formula has a perfume odor that not only gives me a headache but isn't appropriate for my husband. It feels thin and doesn't provide the same level of moisture for my skin. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the old formula will be re-introduced...until that time, I'm on the hunt for another option.
