STAGG SILVERADO Beef Chili with Beans, Shelf Stable, 15 oz Steel Can

This is an outstanding canned chili. I typically do not care for canned chili. This is definitely an exception. It's not too tomato-ey, not sweet like many other brands and has a nice spice balance. The meat to bean ratio is pleasant as well. I tried this both directly out of the can cold and warmed. Obviously warm is better but if you had to eat this cold in a pinch it would still be satisfying.

I had this on a baked potato and cheese. It was so good. Very much like homemade with great flavor and very hardy. Great in winter when you come in from cold and want something fast and satisfying. You can have anytime but I love chili most in the winter.

Bean lovers will love this Hormel Stagg Child - Silverado Beef. There were just way too many beans in this for my chili loving husband and definitely not enough beef. Also the taste is just very basic and bland. It's not horrible by any means but it's just kind of average and needed added ingredients. Personally I would not buy this product again.

I like to make homemade chili, but it takes a while to simmer before eating it. This Silverado Beef chili hit the spot when I needed a quick meal this past weekend. It was thick and had plenty of meat and beans. It had a nice spice to it, but not so much that it burned my mouth. I topped it with some diced onion, sharp cheddar cheese, and sour cream and it was delicious. It was filling and I will definitely keep this in mind when I buy canned chili in the future. I had the Silverado Beef chili by Stagg for lunch. I did not add anything to it. I prepared it on a stovetop. There was a surprising amount of beef in the chili. I liked the overall taste. It was very hardy and filling. I would definitely purchase it in the future. It taste better than other canned chilis. I received this product for free
