Easy to put together, easy to use. At 70, I can only do 4 to 5 minutes, every other day, set at the middle position. I try to add a minute or more each time I use it. I need to build up my legs so I can start walking 6 to 8 miles again, each day.

I got this for my teenage daughter, who is 14. She weighs 100 pounds. When she stepped on to use it, she did not weigh enough for the peddles to go down so she could work it. I weigh 120...so I hopped on it to try....better, but same result and difficulty. My 200-pound husband stepped on and it functioned as desired. Direct quote: "This is a great workout if you weigh enough." But he doesn't want to use that kind of machinery, as he works out a gym. So we resold it on CL. They should include minimum weight requirements bc it is useless if you weigh under 150lbs. I would give it 2.5 stars bc it would be good at a decent price if you weigh enough. Walmart ordering/ shipping superb, as always.

Bought this for my wife. Opened box after it was delivered to find that the frame was bent on the main upright metal piece, as if it got crushed somehow. I took it out of the box anyway, just to see if it would still work properly. My wife tested it and it works really well, especially for the price, and found it very comparable in feel to the steppers she has used at the gym. We are returning this one, but will order a new one to replace it. Would have given it 5 stars but it arrived damaged, so that's worth a star to deal with the return process.

My schedule at work varies so it's hard to get outdoor exercise in or go to the gym. I live in a studio so I need as much space as possible. I searched for something I can easily tuck away and pull back out when I need to work out. Overall this is great. Shipping was kinda of a bummer, two pieces were broken when it arrived. I called the company and they replaced the parts with no problem. Only issue i've found is that balance in resistance. I'm petite and weigh 125lbs. The light settings slam all the way to the metal bar down below making kind of an irritating sound. So I put a towel down over it and it's better.. the next setting up from the ones that hit the bar are more difficult to push down all the way to get the sensors going… it gets better as the machine warms up, but the first 10mins are slow moving. After that, it's awesome. Just needed to get the circulation flowing and it's doing just that.

Good stair climber for starters. Not the best quality but for the price it's worth the investment. After 15 minutes of usage the machine starts squeaking. By 30 minutes, machine gets loud enough that neighbors (for apartment users) could probably hear. Having same issues as other users with the inconsistency of the monitor.
