Returning from a mission in the Gamma Quadrant, Bashir (Siddig El Fadil) and O'Brien (Colm Meaney) crash-land on a remote planet where they are captured by a group of Jem'Hadar soliders. Their leader, Goran'Agar (Scott MacDonald), is mysteriously free of his race's genetic addiction to Ketracel-white, the drug used by the Dominion to enslave the Jem'Hadar. After learning Bashir is a doctor, Goran'Agar gives him a choice: Find the cure to free his men from the tyranny--or die. As Bashir's experiments progress and a cure appears imminent, O'Brien finds a way to escape. But when he asks Bashir to go with him, the doctor refuses! Will his Hippocratic oath cost him his life?.
