Sisko (Avery Brooks) is kidnapped by O'Brien's (Colm Meaney) counterpart from a parallel universe and coerced into assuming the role of his barbaric alter ego, who died while fighting for the Terran resistance. His mission: to get aboard Terok Nor, Deep Space Nine's mirror, and convince Jennifer Sisko (Felicia M. Bell), a Terran scientist and his late wife's counterpart, to cease her experiments and join the resistance. Unwilling to watch his wife die again, Sisko agrees to intervene. Though his fellow rebels want her assassinated, Sisko risks everything to keep the mirror incarnation of his wife alive while not betraying the resistance.
