Star Trek: The Next Generation - Ep. 136: Chain Of Command (part I) With tensions between the Federation and the Cardassians on the rise, Picard (Patrick Stewart) is relieved of command and sent on a covert mission into Cardassian space. Meanwhile, Captain Jellico (Ronny Cox) assumes command of the Enterprise and, much to the dismay of the crew, begins implementing changes in preparation for a full scale war. The Cardassians are rumored to be developing metagenic weapons on Celtris III, and Picard and his team must locate these weapons and destroy them at any cost. After arriving on the forbidden planet, the assault team enters a cavern, realizing too late, that it's a trap. Picard is captured and taken to the ruthless Gul Madred (David Warner) for interrogation.
