Star Trek: The Next Generation - A Matter Of Time

The Enterprise races toward Penthara IV where a massive asteroid has struck an unpopulated continent, creating a dust cloud that threatens to destroy the planet. En route, a mysterious stranger suddenly materializes on board-professor Berlingoff Rasmussen (Matt Fewer). He claims to be a historian from the 26th century who has come back in time to study the Enterprise. Though he is suspicious, Picard (Patrick Stewart) encourages the crew to cooperate with the professor and they resume their mission. Arriving at Penthara IV, the crew struggles to save the planet but their initial plan backfires. Desperate, Picard asks Rasmussen for advice, but the mysterious historian refuses to help. With time running out, Picard must rely on his own instincts.
