Star Trek Voyager: Cathexis #13

Chakotay returns from a routine shuttle expedition badly injured. Logs show that during an encounter with an unidentified ship in a dark-matter nebula all of his neural energy was depleted and he will die if it is not replenished quickly. Captain Janeway orders Voyager back to the nebula to investigate. En route, Kes announces that she senses an alien presence on board. After several puzzling incidents, the crew deduce that a mysterious force must be manipulating the officers. While they struggle to secure the ship and flush the alien out, Chakotay fights for his life.
