Just because Disney paid out the butt for the franchise doesn't mean they have to start their own story and forget about what made it great to start with.
I was thoroughly disappointed. The movie on the dvd, blu-ray, and digital all had the exact same ending. And those were the same as in the theater's. What is going on? I feel put up on.
It was an enjoyable movie with delightful characters: Daisy Ridley's Rey, Oscar Isaac's Poe, John Boyega's Finn, and Chewbacca. I liked, at the end, that Rey chose to be a Skywalker. I was also liked the development of the wavering, struggling Poe.
With the total lack of foresight given to this trilogy, this movie was as good as it could possibly be. It wrote a good finale to the Skywalker saga and is packed with action and more eye candy than a sane mind can comprehend.
A fantastic finish to the new trilogy and Skywalker Saga! Everything you want from a Star Wars movie, this has got it! Outstanding job by all of the actors, effects specialists, etc. JJ Abrams does another exceptional film.
