It works fine obviously if drivers are always update. I have had this adapter since three years ago. The only problem sometimes are the updates but works fine. StarTech is definitely an excellent brand for me.
I have one laptop with only one HDMI port. The StarTech Slim USB 3.0 to HDMI was the definite answer. It connected and recognized the laptop and monitor instantly (following the directions that came with it. It is slim and takes very little space. Also, it shipped in a well protected box of its own and therefore didn't require one of those huge boxes with a bunch of air bags. It arrived on the scheduled date. Very pleased. This was sold and shipped by Walmart.com. I don't buy from Walmart unless the item is sold and shipped by Walmart. Otherwise you end up with return issues.
