SteelSeries - Arctis Nova Pro Wired Over-The-Ear Multi Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch - Black

I had high hopes for these headphones, the reviews everywhere were off the charts. Sadly the reality for me, was far from good. Needing an app for these things to work is just a nightmare. As soon as the software was installed it trashed my system to the point that I couldn't load anything, games, google chrome, Steam. It required constant restarts every few minutes. It was so bad in fact, I had to re install windows 11. Why all these things always need an app to function is insane. They should just plug in with all the 3D audio effects ready to go in my opinion. On top of that the microphone never functioned and never even appeared in any windows or Steele Series software. Pluses...They did sound great, lots of power and were comfortable for the time I wore them. Steele Series support were helpful and ran through some stuff for me to try which I did and then didn't work. I asked for a refund and all due respect to them they provided an RMA and I sent it off yesterday. In fairness I have a friend who has them and he loves them and has had no issues, but for me they were literally a disaster area so I'm really disappointed. :( I'd recommend they stop the use of these useless apps and have it built in so you can plug and play. I can only imagine they've not thoroughly tested the software. I've tried to make this as fair as I can and reported on what I had. I really need some new headphones and was so looking forward to having these things.

Small issue with popping audio in some games but this is infrequent enough not to bother me (would appreciate a fix). Bought these to replace the steelseries arctis pro's that I had for 6 years until they snapped, sound is better as well as the build quality. Recommended.

I got a pair for myself a couple years ago and they immediately became the best headphones I'd ever purchased. Recently my partner needed to get a replacement for her old headphones and she asked to get a pair of what I had and she's been loving them over the past couple of months.

I bought this about a month ago, and the only issue I have is having to unplug and re-plug in the Arctis Nova Pro GAMEDAC every time I restart the computer in order for the sound to work.

A couple of months ago i bought the Nova Pro for my Xbox. I enjoyed it immensely! The sound, the noise canceling, the comfort when wearing it, i loved it and still do. Two weeks ago, i bought the Nova Pro for PC, bc i wanted to enjoy the experience on my PC as well. And needless to say, i am more than satisfied with my investment!
