Step2 Pretend Play Kids Toy Cooking Lifestyle Partytime Kitchen with Accessories

We bought this for our 2 year old for Christmas and she absolutely loves it!! So engaging and plays for hours, yes hours!! She got a tablet for her birthday and we were concerned about the actual "interactive activity". So we looked for a more hands on solution and since she got this, the tablet is an after thought! She loves the sounds from the stove and microwave. The utensils, we bought food and she "cooks" with the season bottles and stirring away. So happy. Our only complaint is the phone. The sound is muffled and doesn't stay on the hangup. Our ONLY complaint which is so small that it doesn't bother us in the least. She's happy and so are we

The Step2 Classic kitchen is cute and functional. It has a very 'traditional' kitchen look and lots of nook and crannies to put kitchen items. There are also multiple features that light up or make sounds, which makes it more realistic for little ones to play with. My five year old just got this kitchen, but loves it already! I would have 2 recommendations for this kitchen; 1. to have plugs or stickers to cover the screw holes on the white decals on the fronts- it would make if more aesthetically pleasing to look at. The second recommendation has to do with the set up of the kitchen (which you have to screw together- be sure to have an electric screwdriver for set up!!!) it would be immensely helpful if there were 'starter' screw holes in the kitchen pieces. It was very difficult to set screws directly in the thick plastic pieces of the kitchen.

Gave this to my 15 mo old granddaughter and I am just thrilled with it. It is adorable and sturdy. I hesitated to get Step 2 products because of all the bad assembly reviews but my husband didn't have any problems with it. The bubbling burner noise is so cute and the phone & microwave noises worded too. I love that it comes with some accessories. The height is good for her to start off with and leaves plenty of room for growing. I got a great price on it but even for more it would still be a great deal.

Purchased two of these play kitchens one for our granddaughter and one for our grandson when they each turned two. They both loved it! Chose this play kitchen because of the interactive features - the bubbling stove, the light under the microwave, etc. Only issue we had is that the cell phone does not stay in its holder. The counter top on one of the kitchens was defective but we called Step 2's customer service and they immediately sent a replacement piece. Very pleased with their service. I would highly recommend this play kitchen. Good size, sturdy and when using a drill, not difficult to assemble.

Don't forget to buy the battteries - you'll need a lot, but all the lights and sounds make this kitchen enjoyable for my daughter. Set up was a bit difficult in terms of getting the srews into the hard plastic parts with just a screwdriver as recommended by the directions - better starter/guide holes would have made it easier. The alignment of the two major shelf peices ended up a little off - not that a toddler cares. only other issue is that it seems the faucet that came with the kitchen is not meant for this model as it is a different color than shown and it doesn't snap into the socket and easily removes
