Step2 Deluxe Workshop Plastic Kid Tool Bench 50 piece Playset

Our 2.5-year-old son loves this workshop! He plays with it every day and our 6-year-old daughter plays also. The instructions were easy to follow and the workshop is very durable and fun.

I bought this workshop for my 4 year old son for Christmas. It took me about 2-3 hours total to put all together. One word of advice-Use a drill to screw in screws! It would have took me forever just to use the screwdriver that they recommend. I couldn't even get some of the screws in with the screwdriver because some of the holes were not predrilled. However, after put together my son loves the workshop and it has several areas for storing the tools that come with it. We are also using for storing other tools and accessories that my son already has. The only downfall with this workshop is the hose that attaches to the side that makes a pretend shop-vac. I am constantly putting it back on because it comes apart when my son tries to use it. The head has come of several times, and tonight the whole hose came off the side when my son was using it! I don't know if I just don't have it tight enough or what, but it is frustrating.

Always have been happy with Step 2 products. Just wish that you would have included enough of the foam wood pieces to be able to make all 4 projects shown, and not only three of them. You have 8 bolts and 8 nuts, but there is no use for them except to put the tires on the car project. To use them on the workbench you have to remove the orange drawer. A more powerful power screwdriver would havwe been nice. Otherwise very happy with it and my daycare children will be excited in the morning when they see it. The old one finally gave up after having it for more than 12 years. The Texas sun finally killed it. Money well spent for a home daycare provder. :)

My 4 1/2 year old son LOVES this workshop! It is durable, has a working light, a vacuum (although it does not have a real function or make noise...we wish it did.), a working drill, ample space for storing tools, 2 different storage-like removable trays, removable jars that have their own built in place AND the wood foam pieces are so much fun! It is quite a joy when you have a happy child. We have so much fun playing with this workshop together every day creating not only fun things, sparking limitless imagination and laughter but also memories that will last a lifetime.I absolutely recommend this! It's perfect.

I gave this to my son that turned 4 and he loves it! There's so much for him to do with all the tools, drawers/doors, working light and drill, things to make with the foam wood, etc. I also have a 7-year-old autistic son that also can't get enough of it because of all the things you can do with this. They both play with it everyday so far. It's durable like everything else I've ever bought from Step 2. It took me just under 2 hours to put together but it didn't seem like that long because it was actually kind of fun to put together. It would have taken less time but I had to find my husbands screw driver's (I needed 1 for the bulk of the work and 1 tiny one for the light fixture and of course my husbands tools are all over the place lol) and batteries. This is the one to buy!
