OK, SO WE WERE SUPPOSED TO WAIT TO GIVE MY SON THIS TOY BOX FOR CHRISTMAS, BUT WE GOT IT IN A LITTLE EARLY SO WE PUT IT IN AS SOON AS WE GOT IT. IT'S PERFECT! THERE IS NO SET UP AT ALL. THERE ARE NO FLIMSY SIDES! THE DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES. HE HASN'T SMASHED FINGERS ONCE & HE'S ROUGH. IT HAS PLENTY OF SPACE!( HE'S TRIED IT OUT) THE LEDGE ON TOP IS PERFECT FOR BOOKS OR ANYTHING.

I am very pleased with the storage chest, it reminds me of the little Tyke chest I purchased for my daughters when they were toddlers. Very durable, easy for my grandson (20 months old) to get his toys by himself. The shelf is very handy for any easy to reach toys.

The storage chest really fit the need that I had. It was perfect for my very busy 1 1/2 year old. It is just the right height and it closes safely over and over again. The shelf was great for placing her shoes on it so she can reach them successfully.

We purchased this toybox for our living room. It was fully assembled right out of the box and has nice muted colors. It can store a lot and has a nice shelf on top. The lid is very easy to move up and down and stays up when you want it too. There is no chance of finger pinching. The only thing I suggest is that it is wiped down very well before you put toys in it as it had a lot of plastic shavings on the inside when we received it. Over all I would say this is a very nice toybox.

This was a little smaller than what I expected, but ended up being perfect for my 13 month old grandson. He also discovered it makes a great little playhouse when he tosses out the toys and replaces them with a blanket and stuffed animal for a pillow. The top does stay in place when slid into the slot for storing and will not fall on little one's heads. Good value for the price.
