This is our second 2step storage mailbox, the first one survived a neighbor's tree falling on it during a storm, however it was blown apart by mischievous neighbors kids this 4th of July! But shop carefully because it's much cheaper from 2Step online. (A lot cheaper). We wouldn't have purchased same product if we weren't very happy with the quality and good looks, hope the new one last 20 + years like the old one. We love the storage capacity, holds mail from 3 weeks very nicely.

This is a great product This is the second one I have installed. I installed one previously for my parents who also loved it. The only problem I had was with the plastic fasteners that broke when I hammered them in to hold the roof. They could have been shorter Fortunately I had some automotive fasteners which worked great.

This is our third Mailmaster StoreMore Mailbox. We bought our first one several years ago and then moved from that residence. We liked it so much that when we moved to the country, we bought a second one. Unfortunately, our second mailbox fell victim to a baseball bat that destroyed several mailboxes on our road. We are now on our third mailbox and I am hoping the person who destroyed our last mailbox has either matured or been caught. What I like about this mailbox is the freedom it gives us to be away from our home and still have a mailbox that keeps our mail safe and secure for several days while we are away. We get some of our medications through the mail and would be worried about leaving these medications in a regular mailbox for several days. With this mailbox, we simply remove the bottom panel and the mail simply accumulates deeper into the body of the box and out of reach of most people. This mailbox is also attractive and very functional.

It's a unique product that meets an important need for people who can't always retrieve their mail or travel. Unfortunately the quality is an embarrassment to the "Made in USA" proudly claimed by the manufacturer, Step 2. I'd seen in other reviews comments about the mail box doors not closing tight and took a chance; after all, the mail storage is unique. Examining the Storemore delivered to me today confirms that without some modification my mail will get wet. Very wet. With the doors closed there is a gap on both sides. And since this is intended to be curb side it'll be subject to not just falling precipitation but splashing by passing motorists. I will rework the door's magnet and strike, likely needing to add some hardware. And since the doors don't have any friction fit I need to figure out a gasket, or at least silicone the rear door closed (it's a feature I don't need.) The pictures included are of the front door closed as tight as can be and a closeup of the magnet that protrudes preventing a tight closure. The magnet sits in a channel molded with no leeway to slide it in further!!! The back door has the same problem.
