this was a gift for my daughters 2nd bday. i put it together in about 5 minutes. my 5 years old plays on it with her sister all the time. we are able to move it room to room bc it easily comes apart and can be out back together fast. i only wish we had bought it sooner!
We ordered this as a birthday gift for our one year old son. When it arrived, it took me about 10 minutes to snap it together. No tools! YAY! We have had it for over a month and he plays on it every single day. We are lucky enough to have a big open room that we use as a playroom and we keep the Kangaroo Climber inside. Our 6 year old daughter also plays on this with her little brother. They use it as a fort by putting a small blanket over the top as well as climbing all over and through it. I think that this toy will get years of use so it is well worth the money.
My daughter loves this climber and uses every feature on it. The slide is long enough to be fun, but not so long that she's scared to go down it herself. She loves to climb up both sides and open and close the door in the back and climb up on the ledge to get to the slide (no stairs). The plastic seems to be pretty sturdy; however, just last night I found a small scratch (a few inches long) that has gone through most of the plastic on one of the panels in the back. I'm not sure how this happened since I set it up in the backyard and it has been there the entire 3 weeks that we've owned it. I'm sure it didn't come torn--I didn't notice anything out of place when I was assembling it. Overall, I like this product, but I only gave it 3 stars because it was so expensive. $130 is at least double what it should cost. Like I said, it already has a tear in it after 3 weeks of light use in the backyard from one child. It was pretty easy to set up; it only took me 20-30 minutes--but it would have been faster if I would have had another adult helping me (it wasn't hard, but I needed more than 2 hands to keep everything in place). We'll see how it holds up to the sun and heat this summer. I bought it online because I thought my daughter would enjoy it--which she has, so I guess I can't complain too much. I just wish I would have found one at a yard sale. Then the price and the tear wouldn't be such a big deal.
The age range for this product says it is up to 4 yrs, however, it should only be up to 2yrs. The climbing is okay but the slide is way to short and small, even for a toddler. The price was to high for what it has to offer for the child. I am going to return it.
Bought this as a gift for my 20m/o granddaughter. It is just the right size for her. She loves to open and close the little door and slide down the slide. Of course all of the toys go down the slide too. This is small enough to fit in a bedroom, so it makes it perfect for an apartment or just bringing it indoors in the wintertime.
