Sterilite 4-Shelf Utility Storage Cabinet, Putty 01428501

My sister and I made one mistake and put the top on too soon but the doors were flexable and we got them into the holes anyway. The cabinet is strong and so very easy to put together. The adjustable shelves are wonderful. I wish that STERELITE made drawers that fit on the shelves so i could fit lots a little stuff in them. I am going to buy more of them. It is definity worth the money. Buy one and you will see. We use ours in the kitchen for all the "extra stuff".

Realized this unit must have been a return. Parts were dirty, handwriting on instructions, parts were bent. Wanted to return but item is so large and heavy that return would be very difficult. Disappointed product was not new, as advertised. Buyer beware.

I was disappointed in this item. It was not as sturdy as expected. One of the sides was cracked when I got it out of the box . Took it back to local store and did not have any problem returning it

I guess it's true that you get what you pay for. This was cheaper than several other similar cabinets, and I can certainly see why. The plastic is really thin. The doors don't close tightly so you can't keep mice out if you use this in your garage and store anything like birdseed. It obviously is not suitable for use outdoors. If you buy it be sure you follow directions exactly. The pieces "snap" together (no tools required), and if you put anything together incorrectly you have to "break" them apart and then use superglue to try to get it right.

I bought this cabinet for my mother-in-law who has some arm/hand limitations with lifting, pulling and twisting. She wanted something light enough for her to move, but sturdy enough for her laundry and cleaning supplies. She absolutely loves it. It looks nice, too. Assembly was easy if you look closely at the instruction diagrams and realize that all parts are marked with letters. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because I am not sure how long the plastic spring-like closure will hold up before wearing out or just how much weight the shelves will hold without bending over a long period of time. Time will tell. However, if either of these things becomes an issue, I have already figured out how to attach magnetic door closures and wooden or metal shelf supports under each shelf. I am considering getting several of these for my own laundry room and garage since they re waterproof and seem durable.
