Storkcraft Aspen Combo Chest - Espresso

I read where people was having problems with the back using screws and all so I started with nails and this junk still cracked. none of the whole line up correctly. the sides of the drawers cracked down the middle while attaching the tracks to them. I don't know if i'd feel safe using it for a changing table or not. I've looked on rooms to go's website but couldn't find anything this style for my daughters room. wife decided just to keep it for the time being, but I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to ditch this junk and go get her a nice bed room set. it was also missing parts/hardware as well. currently waiting to hear back from the company about my damaged/missing parts.

I purchased this dresser and was worried that it would be difficult to assemble based on previous comments. However, I spoke with two people in Walmart and they told me they could assemble it at no charge. So, I ordered the dresser And had it sent to the store for pick up. but before I picked it up, I had them assemble it and within two days it was ready for pick up. A lot of people don't know they do free assembly with furniture and bikes and things of the sort because they do not advertise it. But if you ask your local Walmart they would probably tell you they could do it (they have people that work there primarily to do the assembling). Over all, it looks great. The dresser looks much more expensive than what I paid. The color is a little lighter than I would have liked for the espresso, but it is a nice finish.

So glad my wife and I bought this. It matches our crib perfect and was a breeze to put together, a little overwhelming with all the pieces but no problems. One complaint is that the drawers do not touch eachother and leave a gap when shut but other than that couldn't be happier.

After reading the reviews Of this dresser I was a little nervous purchasing this dresser. I'm so glad I did not listen to them! Yes, it did take me 3 hours to put together, but 7 months pregnant. To me it was very easy to put together but time consuming because I wanted it done right. Friends and family have commented on how nice it looks and have even said it looks like it was delivered from a furniture store! One complaint I did have is the back panels are flimsy, but you don't see that part. So happy with my purchase and it looks great in my little girls room!

During assembly, my husband and I found that many of the drill holes didn't line up, and some of the parts don't match the instructions. We had to drill extra holes, widen screw opening, use hammers and pliers to try to get parts in their correct place. We are going to make it work because we do NOT want to hassle with returns at the store. However, if I could do it over I would not have bought this dresser.
