Beatrice Combo Hutch

Free hutch with dresser. Handled very poorly while being delivered to the store for pickup.

I bought this item, and thank goodness I ordered early. It arrived with defects and when I called the manuf. for help they were rude and actually hung up on me because its "against their policy" to let you speak to a manager. its been three weeks and I am still waiting on parts.

This is a beautiful peice of furniture and it looks great in our daughters room. We obviously purchased this with the dresser and the only draw back is that it is more narrow than the dresser. So, if you were planning on using the top for a changing table be sure to get a smaller changing pad than the average otherwise it will not fit.

We purchased the dresser and hutch together and the dresser is decent, for the price. It was missing some screws, but i just bought some elsewhere for a buck and they worked. It took me 4 hours to put everything together, was pretty easy but very time consuming. The product itself is horrible though. Mostly particle board and horrible quality. The wood scratches so easily, just putting it together it has scratches on it and I tried to be super careful. I was so dissapointed to find out that when the hutch is on the dresser, a standard size changing pad will not fit. My husband shoved it in, but its super tight and squished. I would not have bought this piece had I known that. Overall, it looks decent in his room but it will not last years to come. I am content with my purchase, but would not recommend to someone wanting anything decent.

The photo of the hutch does not show the screw heads that protrude from the shelves. They are very visible when the hutch is built! Also, we were shocked that the hutch doesn't attach to the combo unit-it just sits on top of the dresser, then attaches to the wall. It does seem secure though. I think the price of this hutch/combo is a little steep for the quality. It was our best choice since Ikea doesn't make anything like this unit. It's just "okay"!
