I got it for my big Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 as I switch carrier tower, went form Verizon to AT&T, I had to do a number transfer for the new SIM Card to work, and it is working perfectly. I switch that AT&T phone to straight where I am contract free, I get tired of that. It was unlocked without me having to call the carrier to get a unlock code. Went to settings and changed from global to GSM mode, followed straight talk directions to set up data access point and restarted my phone. Dialed a number and was very happy and surprised that all services work great. All I had to correct that I did not do right was the APN Type, other than that, it works real good. I am very happy that it worked because I love my Galaxy Mega 2, I had to chat with a Straight Talk Rep to help me get it working and running. It saved me a lot of money. Thanks Straight talk and Thank you Walmart. I get LTE almost everywhere, and I'm loving it! I recommend any of you out there to get that SIM Card kit for that awesome deal.

I have a friend who has a family of four, same as me. She is stuck in a 2-year contract, which was about to be up when her husband's phone died. He went without her knowing to get another phone, unwittingly restarting the 2-year clock! Bummer... She pays $230+/month for their service through AT&T. They are limited on data and she is always sweating it when her kids get near their limits because $230 is too much to pay to begin with. We pay $190.80 (tax included) to use the exact same networks they are using, but with unlimited access. What more can I say?!? Straight Talk is the only way to fly!!! Been with them for years. :-) Staying!

Dropped calls. I really thought I was getting superior nationwide coverage. Dropped call. I can say I do get service. Dropped Call. However, the cut out rate is horrible. Dropped call. I use this phone for my personal business. Dropped call. It is extremely annoying to be in the middle of an arrangement Dropped Call. Get the point.

The sim card was a little hard to get to "grab" in the slot. I think that is a phone issue tho, not the card. The price is right and it should work great when I import it to Straight Talk later this week. If you already have a prepaid plan, it will cancel that plan when you import and you'll have to pay again. You can wait, as I am, until when your prepay expires and then add a new prepay card or auto pay without losing time and service already paid for. You check with the phone id numbers and sim card id number to make sure you can port to the geographical area you are in with each particular phone online at the Straight Talk website: http://zip.straighttalk.com/ Start with your zip code, then add the numbers at the prompts. Be sure to check for the correct sim card size for your phone before you order. Returns are easy and free if you do the instore delivery option for your order. It takes about 10 minutes to process the pickup, you can open it at the counter and make sure it is the right size with your phone.

I've been planning to straight talk since last year. I was just waiting for my AT&T contract to end. The wait is over. I got straight talk last 2 weeks ago. I've been paying $145 dollars every month for AT&T with unlimited talk and text plus 1gb data for me and my wife. Now, I'm just paying $90/month on both phones with unlimited EVERYTHING! The same speed as AT&T because they're using the same AT&T towers in my area. Do yourself a favor. Get straight talk and take your wife on a date every month on the $55 dollar you save on straight talk.
