I researched this phone extensively since it was my first smartphone. I didn't use a phone for much more than making calls but after I got a tablet a few months ago and saw all the useful apps that were available, I thought that having them on a phone you could take with you all the time would be great. This phone was easy enough for me to learn how to use since I was already familiar with the android OS from my tablet. I have WIFI at home so I can use my internet related apps without using any data but I can still access them when I am away from home via my phone plan. BTW I got the Straight Talk plan also after doing much research on it and so far am pleased with it as well. I have now got it set up with all my apps and was able to keep all my pictures and contacts from my old phone since it takes an SD card which I simply removed from my old phone and inserted into this phone. Since my old phone didn't do much of anything, having this smartphone is like stepping light years ahead of what I had. Very pleased and hope I will continue to be so.

Just went to straight talk. Wanted a good phone at small price to see how good the service really is, and i have to say i am not disappointed. I ordered 3 for the for the family, and we all love them. I like that we were able to get the phone insurance at a much cheaper price than with our old contract phones. This phone has alot more memory than our 150 mb smart phones that we were stuck with for the last 2 yrs. We have had no issues with these phones or with straight talk. We even went out of state and the phones still worked great.

Previously I owned an LG Optimus Q and thought I would miss the qwerty keyboard but have not missed it a bit. The talk to text works excellent. This phone is twice as fast for web browsing, checking email, FB ect. It is lightweight and thin and battery life is better also. Oh and the price was $30 cheaper than the Q. Overall I am very satisfied!

phone is great. battery life is almost 2 days with a full charge, enough memory to download all of my favorite apps and more, typing is easy especially since I had trouble typing on a touchscreen. sometimes i do get disconnected from internet access even though I have full bars but its rare. otherwise, great phone great price great carrier

I love my phone. It's taken me about a week and half to put all my contacts in and figure out how to download everything. I was tired of. AT&T contracts. I would buy this phone again. It does more than my other (contract) phone did and its $45.00 a month.
