This is a great little phone for the price[ I just got rid of my windows phone which did about everything but be a phone ] When I first got it I thought its pretty small but after I got it set up it even did pretty good on the internet.Someone said it didn't have reminders missed messages and calls if you go into the sound program you can tell it how often to remind you for texts anyhow.Lasts a couple of days on a charge and I can see the screen in the daylight download ringtones of your choice which you can't even do with a windows phone.I bought for a quick temporary fix but like it enough to keep it permanent. Also slides easy.Don,t have a texting keyboard but most of those on screen keyboards are a bigger pain if you have sausage fingers like me.I git buy with the phone keyboard easier. For 28 bucks thats a lot of bang for the money.

This was my first phone purchase ever, and I'm very satisfied with both it and my decision of acquisition. Being 19 yrs. old, I don't have all the money in the world but enough to make a guy happy. But I'm also not willing to pay $300, $400 or $500 for a device that I'm going to use to primarily text and call girls and buddies. I saw this phone in Walmart one day while purchasing munchies and it piqued my interest. I picked up one of the boxes, read all the features, the two available data plans and their prices, and I was sold. I currently have had my phone for a month and a half and it has given me absolutely no problems whatsoever. I only have a few complaints, one of which is that it doesn't have a keyboard to make texting easier. Also, the internet browser is too simple for me to fully view websites, especially those that need plug-ins such as flash player, so I rarely use my data allowance. Lastly, I wish they had increased the internal volume just a tad, as well as the vibration intensity. My phone is right on my lap sometimes and I still don't feel the darn thing, buts its not a hassle at all. Overall, I'm most satisfied with my purchase, and I hope that Samsung makes another phone like this in the near future with increased accessibility but still holds a modest price.

After much research into Straight Talk and the phones available I found the Samsung 340 to have the highest ratings (reviews) and rightfully so. The phone cost of $29.88 would make it seem not of the highest quality, however, after having this phone for a little over 2 weeks I have found it to be a great phone! It is a GSM phone meaning that it uses ATT towers. I get a strong signal, even more than the iPhone I stopped using and have never had a dropped call. This phone is very easy to set-up and use. I highly recommend this phone to anyone! For the price of the phone and the $30/mth Straight Talk I am saving quite a bit of money each month.

I have had no problems with this phone. Its great if you have kids since its not easy for them to break. But if you have any tecnical problems with this phone or with your service your better off with a bigger company. Being on hold with custmer service is something I dont have time for and they dont always follow through on what is needed for them to do.

Great phone for the money! I bought it when it was $60.00. Even better bargain now! Great starter phone and/or every day phone for those who want the basics with some extra features. Durable, easy to use, and great reception on att&t network!
