Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy Centura And

Omg where do I even start. 1 star is 10 too many for this phone. I had this phone sent to me as a replacement from straight talk for another samsung I had. It locks up and you can't even power it off. It has NO memory and even if you add a sd card it will STILL lock up because it can't handle the extra memory. I have even replaced this phone but they sent me another of the same. I ended up giving it away brand new still in the box I was so disgusted with it. After a couple of weeks the friend I gave it to almost swore off of Samsung phones all together they were so upset. Basically, do NOT get this phone even if you just need a temp phone. It wouldn't be worth the money if it was free.

So I mostly really like this because it's the best phone I've basically gotten for free since it comes with the $45 service card. It's not as good as an iPhone, maybe about as good as iphone 3, but that's pushing it. It works with the apps I like, such as Netflix, ESPN Go, etc, and has decent resolution, but not even close to say the iPhone 5 resolution my wife has. Pros: Great value, decent storage with room to add more, all the apps I want work on it. Cons: It's a little slow to respond sometimes. Or a streaming video suddenly stops for a long time, even when right next to the router. Not too bad though most of the time.

I just purchased this phone from Tracfone and transferred my service from my LG800. It didn't take me long before I wish I hadn't purchased it. First off, I don't like the fact that Google has a claim on this phone as far as its functionality. Secondly, this phone is very difficult to use. My Contacts did not transfer to this phone, which I didn't like. I made a call from my home phone to this phone to make sure it was taking a call. I couldn't answer the call! I tried everything to answer the call and nothing worked. Maybe it's me, but who needs the complications? Usually, when make an upgrade it takes a few days to get used to a phone, and just a couple hours to set it up so its usable. This Samsung Galaxy, is not user friendly in my opinion. I contacted Tracfone and am returning the phone, and reactivating my LG.

Having been using Samsung Galaxy S3 before I was expecting a phone that would be a little better. The picture quality isn't very good and the overall function is not even a third of that of the S3. Of course this is my fault for not having checked out the details of the phone before I purchased it. Just doesn't have the features that I expected from a Samsung product.

I have had this phone for less than two months and have already had it replaced.... the replacement phone is worse than the first.....
