Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy S4 Prepaid Cell Phone BONUS Screen Protector

This is an upgraded version of my old Galaxy phone, but pretty much the same phone...except the phone is way bigger and the camera is way better. I ordered the same phone for my husband- he loves it as it is typical to his last phone...therefore there is no learning curve...which we like. We are not high-tech users, we talk, text, take pics, check the weather and stuff. It's not our main computer source. I can't figure out how to turn off interpretive text and how to get the camera to zoom in...must have changed a setting while I was setting it up. Other than that it is a great phone...easy to use, huge screen, fast, plenty of storage space - I take and send a lot of pictures. It also comes with the Easy Settings option for us older people who like big icons and only a few, not a bunch of tiny icons crammed on the screen. This would even make a great phone for a first time smart phone user.

I purchased this phone as a gift for my husband. He loves it and it was just what he wanted. Has all the neat smart phone features he wanted but not as complicated as some of the newer models we looked at over the past several months. The only thing that threw us was that when he tried to log in this phone to yahoo it told him the phone was already registered to someone else. Now, mind you, we paid more for a new phone to avoid these kind of complications that can sometimes arise with a refurbished phone. Guess getting a new phone doesn't solve all those problems :( After playing around with the phone we finally removed the other user and we were told the reason we had the problem to begin with was because of the phone number. I certainly hope that is true as I would be very upset to find out we paid more for a new phone only to get a used phone we could have purchased for cheaper.

I purchased the S4 when it went on sale for $150. The S4 I purchased uses AT&T's cell towers. The phone has an older Android software version (4.3) which runs all my apps except for one. You cannot upgrade the phone's Android version. I was surprised at how quickly the battery drained with minimal use. I had to recharge every 24-hours and I don't use the phone that much. I installed an app that helps manage this issue now I can go 2 or 3 days between charges. Overall an excellent phone for the money.

Nice phone. Nice size and screen size. Good graphics. Lots of memory!!! I have only had it for a week but so far so good. Hope it holds up better than my last 2 Straight Talk phones. This is my 3rd one in 16 months. Had a Galaxy S3 before I switched to Straight Talk so when my LG Sunset puked I found this for a good price and decided to get it. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice phone at a good price.
