I've researched every android phone on the market, and for the price this is the best deal available. I was already a straight talk customer and wanted to upgrade to a smartphone. The galaxy S2 is a great phone... I was concerned about the operating system because its an older version (gingerbread 2.3.6) but no problems... It does everything the latest system does. Its the perfect size screen 4.3, not too big but big enough. The newer models have 5 inch screens and larger... which is more like carting around a tablet. The phone is fast and has way more storage space than most the others... This one has 16gb. Camera is fantastic !! 8 mp.... and takes great photos and videos. With the price drop of 199.99 and unlimited plan on straight talk... you can not beat this deal.
very nice phone!!!!! it works very good , run off att towers, and its speed is nice , dont have to worry about loosing any calls with att towers around here, we got 2 and will buy 1 more for xmas over all you cant beat the phone for the price ,speed and all it has , for 199 it was 299, and it works great!!!!
Bought this phone after reading quite a few reviews. Compared it to the current Iphone models as well as the Samsung S3 and S4 after another reviewer said they liked it better than those. I must say, that review was dead on. phone is easy to use and works very well. Also, the battery does very well.
Only had the phone 2 weeks, battery would only last 4 hours without any use, with power saver mode enabled and nothing running. I called Samsung, Straight talk and they said take it back to Walmart. Since it was an order online and not in store I don't think I'll try another one.
The phone is fine. I like it. My experience with activating the phone and with Straight Talk Representatives was a NIGHTMARE! After a week of numerous phone calls my phone was FINALLY activated. I DID NOT get my old phone number transferred as I requested. Service Department was TERRIBLE!!!!
