Summer Custom Fit Walk-Thru Gate (Grey)

Love how easy it was to put up, it looks great, durable and easy to use. The only thing it needs is some way to stick it to the floor. It slides around and when it's not in the right position it doesn't lock. The pros out weigh the cons and I would definitely recommend it.

This gate is great. The setup was pretty simple, just make sure you use the correct template when you go to set it up as I made that mistake at first. I have this set up at the entrance to my kitchen to help keep our toddlers and dogs out while we cook and so far, its taken a pretty good beating between the two, but it still feels sturdy and its still standing like the day I bought it. I would highly recommend this if you have a bigger space that you need to gate off!

it fit the space I needed it to. unfortunately the latch doesn't work properly. the locking park of the top latch doesn't even reach the door. so there is no child actual resistant/safety feature. basically just a huge waste of money. not to mention that my package got delayed multiple times and arrived with the packaging dented and torn.

I was torn between a 3 or 4 star rating but, ultimately went with a 3 for safety reasons. The gate is problematic because my daughter is big enough to pull herself up on it (like she does with a second gate we have in the house). However, unlike the other gate, when she pulls herself up on this one frequently it slowly loosens the locks on the gate and causes the gate to randomly expand when she's on it. She ended up falling and face planting the other day after it randomly launched forward several feet into the kitchen. I now check several times a day to tighten them. But it makes me so nervous. The door is also hard to relock properly. No one who has visited can really get it closed right and I end up having to close it for them. I think issues like these are probably common with bigger gates though.

I do love this gate but my son as fallen through the door more than once he is tall enough to stand up and hold it and I believe he pushes the top button without even realizing and comes tumbling through so I would just be cautious if you have a child walking and moving around bc they can fall through.
