Summer Infant Mother's Touch Deluxe Baby Bather, Pink

I bought this and although my baby isn't here yet I tested it for how to put it together and how quickly it dries. It's not hard to put together and bc it's mesh it dries well but the back piece you're to click together to hold down the back is a pain to pull apart. The weight if the baby will hold it down just fine and not having it fully connected (you'll know what I mean) will make it easier to dry and store.

I used this from the time my daughter's umbilical cord came off and could bathe, until she was nearly big enough to get out of it. At which point she could just sit in the tub on her own. You know, without tipping over ;) This seat makes it so simple for both mom and baby to get that much needed shower. I would just take her in with me, and now she is 18 months and loves bath time. Not to mention its significantly cheaper than most the other baths out there. I also like that the water runs right through it for when you just want to give your baby a quick shower with out having to prop her up. It also comes apart and washes very nicely. I had an infant tub when my daughter was born and I couldn't wait to give her her first tub bath(sponge baths are a hassel).Boy was it a nightmare!The tub was too big and she likes to squirm,so it was hard to hold on to her and wash her at the same time.Lets just say,it looked like I got in the shower with my clothes on.I ordered this and put it in my bath tub.My 2 month old just absolutly loves it.I like the fact that it has a head rest and it works great.She also can't slide off the bottom because it curls up at the end(which she loves to push her feet against).For me,it was a life saver.We both enjoy bath time now.Would highly recommend this.

I am very disappointed with the bather. It sits very high. I would have to fill the bath tub with at least 8 inches of water for the water level to reach the top of my baby's legs. What a waste of water for a 5 minute bath for such a small person! If you do not want the water to touch your baby, then this product is for you.

I have been using this since my daughter was 1 1/2 weeks old. I thought that it would fit in my kitchen sink but it doesn't, so I have to fill up the bath tub in order to give her a bath. She is 9 weeks old now and she keeps sliding down and I'm having to focus that she won't slip too far instead of her getting clean.
