Sunbeam King Size Microplush Heating Pad - Green

I love this heating pad. It never gets too hot and keeps me so comfortable. I use it on my back, neck, legs and when I'm hurting all around just put it on my belly for comfort. However, this is about the 5th one I've bought in just a few years. They just seem to stop working. But I keep coming back because it works better than any other I've tried when it is working.

so its plenty big and the covering it has is nice and comfortable but the pad doesnt get hot enough to overcome the amount of heat the super thick covering absorbs. i had to return mine and get a smaller one that actually transmits the heat to my body better. a shame because with its bigger size and always on feature i thought i had finally found the perfect heating pad.

I was really looking forward to a heating pad that was as HOT as all the reviews on this one said it was. Warnings on the product said "Be careful not to burn skin", and "do not use if you have diabetes' , and many other warnings, making it SEEM like it would get really hot. It doesn't. I MAY try to take it back, and order a new one to SEE if it is defective, because I really wanted this item, believing it would do all that it said. Again, barely 'warm', not 'hot' at all. I have been searching for weeks for an ideal heating pad, and right now, I'm pretty much convinced one does NOT even exist. :( IF this one had lived up to the 'too hot' reviews, I'd have loved it. I wanted it HOT. Someone needs to get out there and INVENT a good one. ie: One that gets HOT enough to do some good.

I was very disappointed with this heating pad. I do like the size, but no matter what setting it is set at it is only lukewarm. I am going to return it.

This Sunbeam XpressHeat heating pad is a little more expensive than the old-fashioned standard heating pad, but has features that are worth the cost in my opinion. It heats much more quickly (and evenly), has more heat settings, and is soft and plush to the touch. It is also flexible, not like the old plastic covered pads with the thin fabric covers. The lighted digital controls are easy to read even in dim lights. No need for an extension cord since it comes with a 9-foot cord. The cord is detachable from the pad, making the pad fully washable. My favorite use is to place one between the sheets for a few minutes to warm up the foot of my bed at bedtime. I have two of the Sunbeam XpressHeat pads, and have had no problems with either of them so far.
