Sunbeam Universal Humidifier Filter (SFU003PDQ-UM)

This Sunbeam humidifier wick is recommended to be replaced every month. I pit a new one in and less than 2 weeks later, the upper half dries up while the bottom is still soaked with water. So the humidifier does not humidify anymore. This is a cheaply made product. I understand now the phrase " you get what you paid for !!"

I needed a replacement filter for the very expensive Honeywell filters I had been buying for our humidifier (which were hard to locate anywhere to begin with). These can be cut to size and worked perfectly and even lasted longer with our hard water. I can cut 4 filters out of each one, which saved me $50. Just make sure you have a very sharp cutting tool/scissors, they aren't easy to cut.

This last order of filters was terrible. Even the first day, they never registered in the “blue”. Doesn't even last a week before needing to be replaced again. They look different than in the past. I've used this brand for years and never had a problem before.

I love how this is universal and just a snip and a couple zip ties ( a 3 minute job) saves me at least 10 bucks. Works just as good as the Brand name and saves you money. Nothing wrong with that! Plust the new Buy it online and ship it to your local Walmart is a sinch! Sign in and your purchase is brought out to you in minutes after the e-mail comes and tells you it is ready.

Filter is fine but zip ties break the flimsey black filter weave. After they broke, I ended up just aligning the untied/loose filter around the circumference channel and that proved adequate.
